Computer Housekeeping

If the computer works abnormally,these are the steps that we can do to handle the abnormally.

I) Delete the temporary internet files.

• Open the Internet Explorer

START->INTERNET EXPLORER

• Clear the temporary internet files

a) TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS

b) DELETE FILES->TICK THE DELETE ALL OFFLINE CONTENT->OK

c) DELETE COOKIES->OK

(b) Scan the viruses to elemenate the viruses.

• Open the antivirus software

START->ALL PROGRAMS->PANDA ANTIVIRUS 2008-> PANDA ANTIVIRUS 2008

1)Run the update.

UPDATE->UPDATE PANDA ANTIVIRUS NOW

2)Scan the viruses.

SCAN->SCAN ALL MY COMPUTER

(c) SCAN THE HARD DISK TO ENSURE THAT THERE IS NO ANY FILE ERRORS ON THE HARD DISK.

• Open the hard disk scanning program

START->MY COMPUTER->RIGHT CLICK ON THE HARD DISK -> PROPERTIES->TOOLS->CHECK NOW (ERROR CHECKING) -> AUTOMATICALLY FIX SYSTEM ERRORS->START
